Feidoodoo Cross-Border E-Commerce (Ji Nan) Co, Ltd, a subsidiary of Chinese-listed company Guolian Co, Ltd, has announced plans to establish a Sino-Pak Agricultural Industrial Park in Pakistan and introduce a cross-border e-commerce platform in Urdu.Â
The initiative aims to enhance agricultural trade between the two countries while providing Pakistani farmers with better access to agricultural inputs and global markets.
Ken Liu, Director of Cross-Border E-Commerce at Feidoodoo, stated in an interview with Gwadar Pro that the company seeks to develop a two-way agricultural trade corridor, facilitating Pakistani farmers with cost-effective inputs and exporting high-quality Pakistani products to Chinese consumers.
Feidoodoo specializes in B2B transactions for agricultural raw materials and finished products, covering fertilizers, pesticides, agricultural films, seeds, and edible agricultural goods. The company, which already operates in Thailand and Indonesia, has identified Pakistan as a key market in its global expansion strategy.
Agriculture remains a major contributor to Pakistan’s economy, accounting for 24% of GDP and employing 37.4% of the workforce. However, the sector struggles with fragmented supply chains, high distribution costs, and limited access to affordable inputs. With Pakistan’s annual fertilizer demand exceeding 10 million tonnes, small and medium-sized farmers face significant challenges in securing cost-effective agricultural supplies.
Liu emphasized that Feidoodoo’s B2B platform will connect suppliers directly with distributors, reducing inefficiencies and ensuring farmers receive competitive prices. The initiative aligns with China’s broader strategy to strengthen trade ties with Pakistan, promote agricultural technology exchange, and support local farmers through digital integration.
