Uzbekistan Airways will expand its services between Pakistan and Uzbekistan starting October 28, 2025, doubling the frequency of flights on the Tashkent-Islamabad-Tashkent route from once a week to twice.Â
This expansion is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the relationship between the two countries, with a focus on transport, logistics, and economic cooperation.
Currently, Uzbekistan Airways operates two weekly flights on the Tashkent-Lahore-Tashkent route and one weekly flight on the Tashkent-Islamabad-Tashkent route. Due to consistently high demand, with flights running at full capacity and tickets selling out in advance, the airline has decided to increase the frequency to meet traveler needs.
The new flight schedule is expected to provide greater convenience for travelers while fostering closer trade ties, boosting business opportunities, and encouraging more frequent exchanges between the two nations. In addition to enhancing economic diplomacy, the expanded flight service will support cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
The increased frequency of flights will also benefit international travelers, as Tashkent International Airport serves as a key transit hub, offering convenient connections from Pakistan to Europe, North America, and Asia. This makes Uzbekistan Airways an attractive option for those seeking efficient travel to global destinations.
The expansion of air services highlights the growing bilateral partnership between Uzbekistan and Pakistan, reinforcing the two countries’ commitment to deepening cooperation and connectivity across regions.
