Mohenjo Daro, Chaman trains to resume operations tomorrow

KARACHI: Pakistan Railways is set to resume Mohenjo Daro passenger train from tomorrow (Tuesday) after a seven-month long Covid-induced hiatus.

According to the details disclosed by the railways dept, the route of the passenger train has been modified; it will now travel between Kotri and Rohri (Sukkur) via Dadu. Before the suspension of the train operations, it was travelling on the Karachi-Rohri route. The train will depart from Kotri at 7:00am and from Rohri at 6:00pm. The Mohenjo Daro passenger train will largely benefit people commuting within interior Sindh.

Meanwhile, the railways also announced the resumption of Chaman passenger train from tomorrow (Tuesday). PR had released its schedule to inform the travellers on Wednesday last.

The passenger train will leave from Chaman and Quetta at 8:30am and return to its destination from the provincial capital at 2:00pm.

Earlier in October, Pakistan Railways had announced to resume operations of Mianwali Express train and Mari Indus train.
