Nokia clarifies that this agreement is separate from their existing 5G patent license deal with Samsung

Finland’s Nokia announced on Wednesday a multi-year patent license agreement with Samsung, allowing the South Korean company to use Nokia’s video technologies in its televisions.

Under the agreement, Samsung will pay royalties to Nokia, the Finnish company confirmed in a statement. Nokia also clarified that this agreement is separate from their existing 5G patent license deal with Samsung.

The financial details and specific terms of the agreement remain confidential between the two companies.
