Capital Smart Motors has announced the price of the Riddara RD6, Pakistan’s first fully electric pickup truck, at Rs13.299 million.
The company claims the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.5 seconds and climb slopes up to 45 degrees. It features seven driving modes designed for both off-road and city use. The RD6 also has a towing capacity of up to 3,000 kilograms.
While specifications for the Pakistani model are not fully disclosed, the international variant includes an 86 kWh battery pack that delivers over 436 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. The company says this puts the RD6 among the most powerful pickups in Pakistan.
The launch expands the country’s electric vehicle options as the auto sector moves toward clean energy alternatives.
