US retains top spot for Pakistani exports in July-August 2025-26

Exports to US rise to $1.112bn, UK $385m, China $354m; shipments to UAE and Türkiye decline

The United States (US) remained the top export destination for Pakistani products during the first two months of the current financial year 2025-26, followed by the United Kingdom (UK) and China.

Total exports to the US during July-August 2025-26 were recorded at US$1,111.891 million, up from US$950.128 million in the same period last year, reflecting an increase of 17.02 percent, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

Exports to the UK amounted to US$385.111 million, compared to US$366.370 million last year, showing a growth of 5.11 percent. China was the third-largest export destination, with Pakistani products worth US$354.470 million exported, up from US$323.435 million.

Among other countries, exports to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) stood at US$320.782 million, down from US$400.977 million, while exports to Germany rose to US$305.660 million from US$287.169 million. Exports to the Netherlands totaled US$242.996 million against US$247.343 million, and exports to Italy increased to US$215.521 million from US$186.984 million.

Pakistan’s exports to Spain were recorded at US$242.159 million, up from US$231.945 million, while exports to Afghanistan fell to US$109.319 million from US$146.655 million. Exports to Bangladesh stood at US$116.276 million against US$122.004 million last year.

Similarly, exports to France rose to US$88.548 million from US$82.680 million, while Belgium saw a decline to US$86.513 million from US$100.402 million. Exports to Saudi Arabia decreased to US$106.705 million from US$114.189 million, and exports to Türkiye fell to US$28.542 million from US$64.812 million.
