Treet Corporation Limited has announced a Rs430 million capital investment to expand its hygiene razor segment amid strong domestic and export demand, according to a notice sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday.
In its filing, the company stated that the decision followed “exceptionally high sales and strong demand for its Hygiene Razors, which have exceeded current production capacity.”
The board of directors approved the expansion plan to meet rising market needs and enhance efficiency. The notice read, “Accordingly, the Board of Directors has approved a PKR 430 million capital expenditure to expand the Hygiene Razor segment.”
Treet added that the investment will help the company meet rising demand (local and export), improve efficiency, and enhance shareholder value.
Treet Corporation Limited was incorporated in Pakistan on 22 January 1977 as a Public Limited Company under the Companies Act 1913 (now Companies Act, 2017). The principal activity of the Company is to manufacture and sell razors and razor blades, along with other trading activities.
