Pak Leather Crafts to rent out factory building for additional income

Company enters agreement to lease property, expanding revenue streams beyond core business

KARACHI: Pak Leather Crafts Limited (PLCL), a manufacturer and exporter of leather goods, announced on Thursday that it will rent out its factory building to generate additional income. The company disclosed the development in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

PLCL has entered into an agreement with a third party to lease the factory building on a monthly rental basis. The company stated that the rental income will supplement its existing revenue from leather tanning, manufacturing, and garment exports.

Founded in 1971, PLCL specializes in leather tanning, leather garment manufacturing, and the export of leather products. The rental agreement marks a step towards diversifying the company’s income sources.
