Gold price falls by Rs1,000, reaches Rs88,000 per tola

ISLAMABAD: The price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs1,000 and was traded at Rs88,000 per tola as compared to the last closing at Rs89,000, Karachi Sarafa Association reported on Monday.

The price of 10-gram gold also witnessed a decrease of Rs865 and was traded at Rs75,439 against Rs76,303 the day before.

The price of silver remained constant and was traded at Rs1,120 per tola.

In the international market, the price of per ounce gold dipped by $16 and was traded at $1,498 as compared to the last closing at $1,514.
