Ensuring ease of doing business govt’s top priority: PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said ensuring ease of doing business and promoting tourism are the foremost priorities of the government.

He was talking to the Managing Director of prominent Advisory and Consultant Company McKinsey Kevin Sneader in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Imran Khan said the present government is committed to providing every possible facilitation to the business community to promote economic activity in the country. This, he said, will ensure socio-economic development.

Regarding tourism, the Prime Minister said there is great potential of tourism in Pakistan. He said promotion of tourism will not only help us earn foreign exchange but also create immense job opportunities for the youth.  He said the opinion of McKinsey will be welcomed in promotion of tourism especially the development of infrastructure.

Imran Khan said the people are bearing the brunt of the maladministration and flawed policies of the past rulers in the energy sector. He said checking losses in the energy sector and reducing burden on the masses is top priority of the government.
