KARACHI: Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) organised a pavilion for the first time at Musikmesse 2017, which took place from 05-08 April 2017 in Frankfurt, Germany.
Musikmesse in Frankfurt is the international trade fair for musical instruments, sheet music, music production and marketing.
Musikmesse covers all parts of the musical-instrument sector, from classical instruments, acoustic and electric guitars and basses, brass and woodwind instruments, percussion and keyboard instruments to electronic equipment, hardware and software.
Musikmesse gives visitors the chance to test new products, to see and hear well-known artists at workshops and product demonstrations and to attend numerous concerts, autograph sessions, events, awards ceremonies, etc.
In 2017 around 100,000 visitors visited Musikmesse from more than 125 countries.
Musikmesse attracted 1922 exhibitors from 55 countries.
TDAP organized a National Pavilion consisting of 4 companies in Musikmess 2017 – Khalid pipe Co, Musik inn, Musik di Rehman & Sanaullah Corporation.
Halifax & Co, Mid-east Mfg. & Vellum Head Company participated directly in Musikmesse  2017.
Dr. Javed, Director of Sanaullah Corporation said, ” Musikmesse is the most important show for Musical instrument manufacturers.”
Moreover, Mr. Aftab, Director of Mid-east manufacturing company stated, “we got buyers from all over the world and we are satisfied with the outcome of the fair.”
Mr. Naeem, Director of Vellum Head Company informed that the company will be participating again next year with innovative products and this year the event proved to beneficial in attracting good buyers.
As Musikmesse is an important show for Pakistani buyers & importers high numbers of visitors visit the said show.
The next Musikmesse will be held in April 2018. Musikmesse is also scheduled to be held in Moscow in September and Shanghai in October 2017.
