Rana Afzal Khan assures businessmen inclusion of their suggestions in budget

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Finance Rana Muhammad Afzal Khan has said that the proposals submitted by the business community would be given appropriate consideration in the next budget.

He was talking to a delegation of Peshawar Small Chambers, led by Dilawar Ihtisham calling him here on Wednesday.

The delegation requested the minister that a simple return form may be developed for small traders. The delegation proposed that withholding tax on bank withdrawals should be applicable from Rs500,000.

They also emphasised simplification in audit procedures. These steps, the delegation opined would greatly benefit small traders and provide them due encouragement to expand their businesses.
