Textile manufacturers set to participate in ATF Cape Town expo

KARACHI: A total of 17 fabric, garment, home textile and yarn manufacturers would participate in the Apparel, Textile and Footwear (ATF) Trade Exhibition scheduled to commence in Cape Town, South Africa, from November 20.

Out of the total participating companies, 16 would showcase their products under the banner of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), which would organise a Pakistan Pavilion at the three-day exhibition.

ATF, the premier sourcing event on the African Continent, aims to bring together international suppliers, manufacturers, service providers and buyers under one roof. The fair will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

The event will be organized by Messe Frankfurt, the largest trade fair company in the world, with operations in over 50 countries. A total of 124 exhibitors from seven countries and 1,350 visitors graced the fair in 2017.

Pakistan on the occasion will have direct exhibitors and a national pavilion under the auspices of TDAP. Al-Rahim Textile Industries, ARM Textile, Aziz Sons, Decent Towellers Weaving Factory, FB Industries, International Textile Limited, Lintaz Industries, Mestex Linens, Sajid Textile Industries, Zis Textiles would represent Pakistan’s home textile sector while Premium Textile would exhibit its yarn collection.
