The government has decided to reduce the prices of petroleum products for the month of January 2019.
As per the notification issued by the Ministry of Finance on Monday, the price of petrol and diesel has been reduced by Rs4.86 and Rs4.26 per litre respectively. Similarly, the price of kerosene has been reduced by Rs0.52 and that of light diesel oil (LDO) by Rs2.16 per litre.
Accordingly, the revised prices of petroleum products for January 2019 would be Rs90.97 per litre for Ms 92 RON, Rs106.68 for high-speed diesel, Rs82.98 for Kerosene Oil, and Rs75.28 for LDO.
The prices shall be applicable from 1st – 31st January 2019.
