Arif Alvi invites American companies to invest in tourism

ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi has invited the American Business Council to take advantage of Pakistan’s virgin territory particularly the huge hotel and tourism industries of its scenic northern parts.

Speaking at a ceremony in Islamabad, he said after improvement in the security situation and ease of doing business by the government, Pakistan is good for all kinds of businesses and its tourism industry has great potential. The president said the capacity of Pakistani businessmen will have to be improved to increase Pakistan’s exports to the US.

Speaking on the occasion, US Ambassador to Pakistan Paul Jones said the US is a long term trading partner and among top five investors in Pakistan.
