‘Ehsaas’: Capital administration disburses Rs9.6m among 8,000 beneficiaries

ISLAMABAD: The federal capital administration with the help of the Poverty Alleviation Division on Thursday disbursed Rs9.6 million among 8,000 beneficiaries under the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Programme.

Sources said the Islamabad administration has established 10 centres in different sectors to facilitate beneficiaries.

Centers have been established at Sports Complex H9 Boys Colleges; Community Centre Humuk Girls College G11/1; Boys College Tarnol, Revenue Centre Bara Kahu; Islamabad Model College 14; Modle Boys College G9/2; Tarlia Facilitation Centre; and Bare Imam.

Officials said the government had started new registration in these centers.

They said the registration and verification process would continue two more days and deserving people under the set criteria would be given an amount on the directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
