OGDCL revamps its corporate identity

Company unveils new logo and tagline across platforms, business operations remain unchanged

Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has announced a revamp of its corporate identity, unveiling a new logo and tagline approved by its Board of Directors.

Pakistan’s largest exploration and production (E&P) company shared this development to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Friday.

“It is informed that the Board of Directors of the Company has approved a new corporate logo and tagline as part of the Company’s corporate identity revamping initiative,” read the OGDCL’s notice sent to the PSX.

The updated visual identity will be applied across all company materials and platforms with immediate effect.

The change, according to OGDCL, pertains solely to the company’s visual branding and does not affect its legal name, principal business activities, or operations. The company has requested Pakistan Stock Exchange and London Stock Exchange to update their records and notify TRE certificate holders accordingly.

Company Secretary Wasim Ahmad confirmed that the initiative is part of OGDCL’s broader efforts to modernize its corporate image while continuing its core operations in the oil and gas sector.

Oil and Gas Development Company Limited was incorporated on October 23, 1997 under the Companies Ordinance, 1984 (now the Companies Act, 2017). The company was established to undertake exploration and development of oil and gas resources, including production and sale of oil and gas and related activities formerly carried on by Oil and Gas Development Corporation, which was established in 1961.
