TCP yet to decide on purchase, with negotiations ongoing

The lowest bid received in Pakistan’s international tender for 100,000 metric tons of sugar was reported at $545 per metric ton, cost and freight included (c&f), according to European traders’ initial assessments on Monday. Offers in the tender from the Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) are still under review, and no purchase has been finalized as of yet. The TCP may take several days to negotiate and make a final decision.

Further estimates on prices and volumes are still pending as traders continue to assess the tender details.
