ISLAMABAD: Federal and Sindh governments announce early disbursements to facilitate Christmas celebrations.
In a move to facilitate the Christian community ahead of Christmas, the federal government has announced the early release of December 2024 salaries and pensions for Christian employees and pensioners. According to the announcement, payments will be disbursed on December 20, 2024, in line with Rule-217 of the Federal Treasury Rules.
Similarly, the Sindh government has followed suit, issuing a notification for the advance release of salaries and pensions to its Christian employees. These payments will be made on December 18, 2024, allowing recipients ample time to prepare for the festive season.
This decision reflects the government’s effort to acknowledge and support the Christian community in celebrating one of their most significant religious occasions.
