LAHORE: Pakistan’s international tennis player Ushna Suhail visited SKMCH&RC Lahore and was briefed about the hospital.
During the visit, she met a number of cancer patients and was briefed about the cancer treatment facilities offered in Shaukat Khanum to its patients without any discrimination. She said that being a sports person, the sportsman spirit of fighting and the motivation to achieve something was nowhere as compared to the high spirited cancer patients who are fighting against cancer. She had a special interactive visit to the pediatric facility and presented gifts to the children.
As a goodwill gesture, she also donated her prize money to the hospital which she had received by winning the Pakistan Open Tennis Championship ladies singles title 2017.
