DS-Concept and SDPT work to finance exports from Sialkot

KARACHI: DS-Concept Pakistan, after its successful business operations in the country since 2006 and in pursuance of expansion in its network of providing financing facility to a maximum number of exporters, has entered in partnership with Sialkot Dry Port Trust.

DS-Concept GmbH (Pakistan) has big number of exporters from all over Pakistan including Sialkot which are onboard with it, and are availing the factoring services for their export transactions.

For further extending its financing facility in 2018 to the exporters of Sialkot, DS- Concept has designed its new product in cooperation with very reliable organisation of Sialkot Dry port Trust (SDPT).

This was said by Rafiul Hasan while talking with a businessmen delegation.

He said that under this arrangement, SDPT is responsible for the movement of the shipments from Sialkot to the sea-port in Karachi. Hence, DS-Concept will offer 50 per cent of the PSF quota to Sialkot exporters
before sailing of their shipments once they handed over these to SDPT, he added.

The port will issue the dispatch note to them for confirmation of having the shipments in their possession and movement of these from SDPT to Karachi sea-ports to be loaded in vessels.

The balance 50 per cent of PSF quota will be paid to the exporters upon presentation of BL, and the remaining balance will be paid upon collection of the invoice from the buyer. This will further make the exporters comfortable in their day- to-day cash flow needs and more confidence in the performance of DS-Concept.For this milestone success, DS-Concept Pakistan has signed a memorandum of understanding with Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT). The MOU signing ceremony was held at Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industries recently.

The signatories were SDPT Chairman Hanif Khan and DS-Concept Managing Director Rafiul Hassan.  President of Sialkot Chamber Zahid Malik was the guest of honor.
