National Institute of HR Management formed

ISLAMABAD: The Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan has accorded an approval to set up a non-profit National Institute of Human Resource Management (NIHRM).

The institute has been set up by the HR leaders and professionals with an aim to introduce international HR standards of professional competence and performance delivery. It will groom Human Resource Management professionals as harbingers of change, create HR policy framework to enable workplace environments, and build human capacity of organizations in public and private sector.

“This is a big step forward for the HR fraternity in Pakistan,” said Society for Human Resource Management President Zahid Mubarik. “NIHRM will help us achieve the goal to regulate the HR profession in the country. It shall function as a key driving force for Human Capital Development to increase productivity and performance.”
