SNGPL launches crackdown against gas theft

Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited has launched a crackdown against gas theft. In this connection, a press conference was organised at SNGPL Head Office with Petroleum and Natural Resources Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan as the chief guest.

The minister briefed the media that crackdown against gas thieves will be initiated without any discrimination, adding that the company is striving hard to control gas leakages and to improve customer services.

The minister said that the excess billing complaints will be addressed on merit, after the outcome of investigations.

SNGPL Managing Director Amer Tufail, Additional IG Punjab Inam Ghani, Additional Federal Secretary Sheer Afghan, Brand Ambassador Samya Mumtaz and senior officials of SNGPL including Sohail Gulzar, Zia Mehmood and Azam Khan Wazir were also present on the occasion.
