Messe Frankfurt welcomes IAF President, Han Bekke to Pakistan.

Messe Frankfurt has welcomed International Apparel Federation’s (IAF), President, Han Bekke to Pakistan for the inauguration of its first regional office in Sialkot and congratulated Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturer and Exporters Association’s (PRGMEA), Chairman and Executive Board Member of International Apparel Federation (IAF),  Ijaz A. Khokhar, at the inauguration of the first regional office.

“It’s an honour for Pakistan to have the first regional office of IAF and a very positive development in the textile industry which will facilitate, support and provide information services to apparel and fashion industry,” said Messe Frankfurt, Representative in Pakistan, Hadi Sallahuddin. The Federation will provide services to its members by bringing together different activities and B2B meetings among importers & exporters of apparel sector across the world, he added.

Ijaz A. Khokhar has made great efforts and shown enthusiasm for the inauguration of IAF’s first regional office in Sialkot Pakistan. This regional office will aim to bridge continents by promoting common business interests, by encouraging best practices and supporting manufacturers worldwide to promote the apparel industry.

Founded in 1972 by leading industrialist, IAF has its head office in Netherlands which provides a unique platform for the textile Industry and is the only global federation for the apparel industry which unites buyers and manufacturers under one federation.
