  • BOI chairman seeks Egyptian expertise in the development of Pakistan’s tourism sector

Board of Investment Chairman Haroon Sharif has said the government is focusing on attracting local and foreign investment to enhance industrial growth, exports and production in the country.

Talking to Egyptian Ambassador to Pakistan Ahmed Fadel Yacoub in Islamabad on Friday, the BOI chairman said Pakistan is providing equal opportunities and incentives to all foreign investors.

He also apprised the Egyptian Ambassador about the particular interest of Prime Minister Imran Khan in the tourism and hospitality sector, saying that Pakistan can learn a lot from the experience and knowledge of Egypt in this regard.

Sorry to say, all statements and narratives of ministers and alike are just empty slogans with no hard facts and figures regarding any progress /breakthrough regarding improvement in the economy of Pakistan. If viewed on say European standards, their output seem too meagure to mention and strain on the economy in terms of salaries and perks is too higher.
