Karachi Transformation Plan put into action by Sindh govt

Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Information and Sindh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab on Monday said that the provincial government has initiated the implementation of the Karachi Transformation Plan to tackle the port city’s infrastructure issues.

In a statement on microblogging website Twitter, Wahab said that the construction of a road from Saudabad Chowrangi to Thado Nulla under the Neighbourhood Improvement Programme has kicked off the plan.

Noting that the project is part of the Karachi package committed to by the provincial government, the Sindh spokesperson added that the road is scheduled to be opened for public by the end of October this year.


He promised that the provincial government would make all-out efforts to fulfil its promises to the citizens’ welfare by completing all projects within the given timeline.
