Sazgar Engineering Works Limited reported substantial growth in production and sales for October 2024, particularly in its three-wheeler and four-wheeler segments.

The company produced 2,520 three-wheelers in October, selling 2,401 units, compared to 1,189 units produced and 1,004 sold in the same month last year, highlighting strong demand in this category.

In the four-wheeler segment, models such as the Haval H6 and Jolion saw similar results, with 1,008 units produced and 1,002 sold in October, up from 244 produced and 253 sold during October last year.

This update follows Sazgar’s recent report of a significant 541% year-over-year (YoY) increase in earnings for 1QFY25, amounting to Rs. 4.2 billion, with profits rising 21% from the previous quarter. Sales included 2,605 four-wheelers, a 3.5% YoY growth, and 5,435 three-wheelers, marking an 89% YoY increase. Net sales also saw a 3.3% YoY rise to Rs. 26.3 billion, attributed to ongoing demand for Haval models and expanded production.

The company highlighted its highest four-wheeler production in September 2024 as part of its operational growth. Sazgar additionally declared a dividend for 1QFY25 at Rs. 10 per share, marking a notable financial update.

The October results indicate a strong production trend, positioning Sazgar within the current demand landscape for both vehicle categories.
