Belgium trade expo will be a targeted expo: RCCI VC

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industries (RCCI) Regional Coordination Committee Vice Chairman Muhammad Khurshid Barlas said that the trade expo taking place in Belgium in May will be a targeted expo.

“We will hold trade talks with industrialists and the business community of Belgium and sign agreements with them for the sale of Pakistani products in this expo”, he said.

Pakistan’s Commercial Ambassador Umar Hamid has extended full cooperation with us in holding this expo, he added.

About 125 Pakistani companies will participate in this expo and we will hold talks with the business community of Belgium on a conclusion of this one-day expo for finding further ways and means to bolster cooperation in boosting trade between the two countries, he remarked.

Barlas who is vice chairman of the organising committee of International Expo-2018 said that Rawal Expo was aimed at providing recreational facilities to people of Rawalpindi, stepping up business activities and playing our respective role in international trade.
