Hafeez Shaikh directs to maintain reasonable prices of all essential items

ISLAMABAD: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh has urged the relevant stakeholders to maintain reasonable prices of all essential items across the country with coordination of the provincial governments.

Chairing a high-level meeting in Islamabad the other day to evaluate the current situation of prices of essential food items in the country, he further directed that the burden on the common man is not enhanced with runaway prices.

The adviser was briefed on the measures taken to control the price hike of essential food items and the preparations for the upcoming months including Ramazan
