The federal government has approved Rs 2.5 billion for the extension of Baran Dam in Bannu District.
Official sources talking to Radio Pakistan informed that the project will be completed within three years. The dam after completion, will bring thousands acres of barren land under cultivation in the area. It will also serve as a tourist spot.
