‘Mystri’ app connecting workshops with car owners

LAHORE: One of the largest internet broadband and cable provider in the country, Wateen, has recently stepped into the e-commerce and digital domain, launching a mobile application named ‘Mystri’ aimed at connecting workshop owners to car owners.

The application features a user-friendly interface through which users can book a workshop appointment with the tap of a button. Additionally, users also have the option to opt for doorstep car maintenance service.  Services offered under the platform encompass a wide variety of procedures ranging from general car service to general engine overhauling, with a large number of big workshops already on board.

Wateen’s new venture is not only expected to change the way people get their cars fixed but is also expected to bring in much-needed transparency within the existing auto workshop space. The application enables users to rate and comment on the quality of the services provided by individual workshops which are expected to push workshops to provide better quality services and keep their pricing in check. For workshop owners, the platform offers a possibility to increase their customer base by working on maintaining a good rating.

“We are bringing workshops on board so that they get more visibility, and people get to know of the number of workshops that exist in the market and the options they have. Secondly, as customers begin to use Mystri and they give their comments workshop owners will find out where they are going wrong and what they need to improve,” says Wateen’s Head of Marketing, Salman Mazhar.

As of now the application has been launched in Lahore and is in its pilot phase with the company planning to add in more features and expand its reach to other cities within Pakistan.
