Karachi University inks MoU with SECP to encourage financial literacy

KARACHI: The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and Karachi University (KU) Business School have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at its Karachi office.

According to MoU, SECP will enhance awareness and education among current and potential investors of the capital market, including non-banking finance sector companies and the corporate sector ensuring a trajectory of learning from basic financial literacy to financial capability. SECP will educate enrolled students in this regard.

Moreover, SECP will conduct investor’s education seminars for the enrolled students and trainer programs for faculty members of KU-BS. Karachi University Business School Chairman Dr Muhammad Asim and Investor Education Department Commissioner, Shauzab Ali signed the MoU.
